How does Squirrel Meals work?

Each week, Chef Luca creates a new menu of 3 meals:

2- ‘weekday’ meals- 1 course

1- ‘weekend’ meal- 3-4 courses including dessert.

Each meal is prepared, portioned and delivered to your doorstep. Each component is labelled with a number that correlates to your meal, so when it’s time to cook meal #2, grab all the containers labelled #2! Simple!

How do I receive my meals?

Right now, I am offering both pickups and delivery each Tuesday.

Deliveries are within the Portland Metro area and will go out between 12-6 PM. If you will not be home, please leave out a cooler for us to place your meals in!

Pickups are at the former Jacqueline space located at 2039 SE Clinton Street, Portland Oregon between 2- 6 PM. If this doesn’t work for you, please contact me directly at squirrelmealspdx@gmail.com and we will come up with a solution!

How long do the meals take to prepare?

Your average meal will take about 10-15 minutes to prepare. Some meals may require long oven times (45 min or so) or a pre-cooking project like marinading or proofing but the hands-off time will always be minimal! Use this time to spend with loved ones, call your mother, or just sit in silence. You do you!

What tasks will I have to do in the kitchen?

I am going to have you doing everything from sauteing and searing, to roasting and dressing. Have no fear! My organization, preparations and instructions help remove excess stress and allow you to focus and be present with the task at hand.

What dietary restrictions can you accommodate?

Currently we can accommodate for a vegetarian or a pescatarian diet. Please reach out if you have an specific dietary needs and we can discuss options!
